Condition Report
Both sauce tureens display general wear, tarnishing and surface marks and scratches. There are remnants of polish in some areas and also some minor nicks and dints. One of the tureens has a split in the metal running vertically down from the gadrooned rim and measuring approximately 10mm in length. This tureen also bears a more noticeable dint to the plain cartouche on one side. The covers do sit inside the main body although neither fit properly in position as the flanges are slightly dinted/misshapen. Hallmarked to the foot rim and also to the inner flange of the cover, marks rubbed but all still legible. Scratch weights visible to the underside of each foot and also number 13 to one and 15 to the other.
