Edwardian silver vesta case with bright cut engraved foliage and shield cartouche with monogram, hallmarked Birmingham 1904. Together with a further Edwardian and early twentieth century silver vesta case. Gross combined weight 2.3 ozt (72 grams).

The vesta cases all display general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The second Edwardian example has become quite concave to the body with a number of dents, hallmarked Birmingham 1906. The early twentieth century example has a personal initial engraving and hallmarked Birmingham 1919. Overall the hallmarks are clear and legible.
