Lot Description

Edwardian silver cream jug, twin handled sugar basin and pair of sugar nips, the cream and sugar each with bulbous shape lower body and standing on three shell capped hoof feet, all in a fitted velvet lined case.  Hallmarked Chester 1909 and 1910, maker's marks partly obscured but possibly Joseph & Richard Griffin.  Gross combined weight 3.8 ozt (118.5 grams).

Each piece displays general wear, surface marks and scratches and some tarnishing.  There are also some very minor nicks and dints.  There may have been a repair to one of the feet of the cream jug.     The hallmarks are all quite rubbed but still legible.  The maker's marks are all very distorted.
