Lot Description
Victorian silver tea pot of oval straight sided form, with fluted corners, straight tapered spout, bright cut engraved borders and floral swags, hallmarked Robert Harper London 1871. Together with an early twentieth century associated sugar and milk jug, matching in design, hallmarked George Nathan & Ridley Hayes 1914 and an associated pair of silver sugar nips. Gross combined weight 37.3 ozt (1160 grams).

Condition Report
The tea service displays general scratches, marks,wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The finial to the teapot is loose. The sugar nips are hallmarked V B Vickers & Co Sheffield 1931. The hallmarks are clear and legible. The makers mark to the milk jug is partly rubbed. The tea pot is also numbered 2708.
