Lot Description
Victorian silver small pepper pot of ovoid form on three ball feet, the top pierced with stylised foliate and geometric motifs, hallmarked London 1873, maker probably George Fox; together with a German Tiffany & Co plain silver pepper pot, the underside stamped with the crown and crescent mark, 925 in an oval, Sterling and Germany. Height of both measures 5cm, gross combined weight 61.9 grams.

Condition Report
The Victorian pepper displays general wear and surface marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use. There are also some minor nicks in the metal. There is a very slight dint to one side of the pierced top. There is a slight diagonal gouge just below the hallmarks. The hallmarks are slightly rubbed but still not legible, the maker's marks is partly distorted.
The German pepper displays light surface marks and scratches and a little tarnishing. There are some small visible nicks in the metal, mainly around the top rim. Marks are clear and legible.
