Lot Description
A nineteenth century silver salt of shell form raised above three dolphin feet, hallmarks distorted with the makers mark R.H. Together with a 1930's silver lighthouse salt and pepper hallmarked Sheffield 1936, a further early twentieth century silver pepper and an early twentieth century silver menu holder. Gross silver weight 8 ozt (248 grams).

Condition Report
All items display noticeable scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. All items would benefit from a clean and polish. The menu holder has some heavy scratches/dints and is personally engraved 'HMS CARLISLE'. The open salt looks to have been previously been gilded to the interior, this has now worn. The single pepper is hallmarked Birmingham 1915, the menu holder is hallmarked Chester 1914.
