Lot Description
An early twentieth century silver four piece tea set comprising teapot, hot water pot, twin-handled sugar basin and cream jug, each of oblong shape tapering to a footed base and with feather banded detail to borders, with ebonised handle and finial to teapot and hot water pot and acanthus leaf detail to the handles of the cream jug and sugar basin. Hallmarked Walker & Hall, Sheffield 1918. Gross combined weight 54.3 ozt (1689.7 grams).

Condition Report
The tea service appears in good overall condition. There are light general scratches, marks and tarnishing. Remnants of an engraved monogram is visible to each piece, which appears to have been filled as the silver does not feel thin to these areas. The hallmarks are clear and legible, each piece also numbered and three parts with the registered number 629004.
