Lot Description
A George III silver key wind pair case pocket watch by George Brown of Coventry, the white enamel dial having black Roman numeral hour markers surrounded by an outer minute track, the plain cases both hallmarked Birmingham circa 1806, makers mark WH, fitted with a signed gilt full plate fusee and chain movement with verge escapement and pierced balance cock. Outer case diameter 59mm. Together with a silver double Albert chain, makers mark EW&S, having lobster clasp termination, T-bar and silver fob hallmarked Chester.

Silver pocket watch by George Brown of Coventry, key wind movement is currently functioning, tiny marks to the white dial, tiny marks to the hands, replacement hand of a different style, scratching and tiny dints to the glass, heavier scratching and tiny dints to the inner case, pendant and bow from general use, similar scratching to the outer case consistent with general use.
Silver Albert chain with T-bar and silver fob has general wear including scratching, dinting, scuffing and tarnishing.
