Lot Description
A 20th century 9ct gold keyless wind open face pocket watch by J W Benson London, the white enamel dial with hourly applied black Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, subsidiary seconds dial positioned to six o'clock, the plain round case, hallmarked Birmingham 1928, fitted with signed sixteen jewel movement with club tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 49mm. Total weight 89gms.

J W Benson pocket watch the keyless wind movement is currently functioning, the dial appears to be in a very good condition, hands seem to be in the same state, glass shows some very superficial scuffs in various places only, case has some tiny damages in few places to the edge due to opening of the watch, case shows general marks and scratches to the whole surface due to general use, watch appears to be in a quite pleasant condition.
