Lot Description
A 20th century mixed metal keyless wind full hunter pocket watch by Elgin, the white enamel dial having black Roman numeral hour markers an outer minute track and a subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock. The case is decorated front and back with a foliate design and the front cover has initials engraved, the dust cover is marked: 925 fine, sterling no. 4216307. The fifteen jewel movement signed Elgin no. 12126541, it has a bi-metallic compensation balance and a ratchet tooth lever escapement with overcoil balance spring. Case diameter 50mm

Elgin pocket watch, keyless wind movement is not currently functioning, light cracking to the dial particularly to the edges, some discolouration to the hands, cracking to the glass between 3 and 6 o'clock, scratching and grazing to the decorated case and bow from general use.
