Lot Description
A George III silver key wind pair case pocket watch, the white dial with hourly applied black Arabic numerals, bordered by a minute track, the plain case with engraved monogram to back, hallmarked Birmingham 1778, fitted with a signed gilt full plate fusee and chain movement having verge escapement, pierced balance cock. Outer case diameter 54mm. Watch is missing its glass.

Pair case silver pocket watch, key less manual wind movement is not currently functioning, dial show loss to the enamel below the 6 numeral exposing the metal underneath, dial also shows cracks towards the bottom as well as some small marks, hands appear to be differing colours and show marks, glass is missing, sides of the case show wear due to sitting in the outer case, back of the case has an engraved monogram, back of the case shows dints, pendent and bow show marks, outer case shows marks and scratches consistent with general wear, glass is missing.
