Lot Description
A Victorian silver key wind open face pocket watch, the white dial with hourly applied black Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, subsidiary seconds dial positioned to six o'clock, the round case with milled band, engine turned design and vacant cartouche to rear, hallmarked Chester 1897, fitted with full plate going barrel movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 55mm.

Silver open face pocket watch, key wind manual movement is not currently functioning, dial shows some visible marks, hands have marks, scratches and some loss to the black, glass has some marks and scratches, case has scratches and marks as a result of general use, case also shows some small dints, case front has some visible scratches, back of the case has some wear to the engine turned decoration, hinges have wear to the corners, pendent has a visible scratch.
