Lot Description
A silver keyless wind full hunter pocket watch by J W Benson, the white enamel dial having black Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, all surrounded by an outer minute track, the case, possibly at one time decorated, hallmarked London 1888, fitted with a signed three quarter plate Ludgate movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement, bi-metal compensation balance and blued hairspring. Case diameter 51mm.

Condition Report
Full hunter pocket watch, movement is currently functioning, dial is generally in good condition, some small black specks can be seen throughout the dial, what looks to be luminous markers are discoloured and worn away in places, hands are patchy in colour and small chips can be seen to the edges of the hands, glass is in good condition with light surface scratches and marks as a result of use, case has many surface scratches and marks as a result of use, design to case is completely rubbed and uneven in texture in places, hinges are in working order, case cover to watch face does not click securely into place, front case cover is loose.
