Lot Description
A Georgian memorial brooch and a sapphire bar brooch. The first with a central woven hair panel within a split seed pearl surround, the second with a central white sapphire floral cluster to the plain bar. Bar brooch stamped 15ct. Length 4.4cms. Weight 2.8gms.

Condition Report
Both brooches are in overall good condition. The woven hair panel is still intact. The split seed pearls have a grey to silver body colour with fairly dull lustre. This brooch is not hallmarked or stamped. The sapphires set within the second brooch are bright. Minor abrasion can be seen to some of the facet edges. Light scratches and scuffs can be seen to both brooches, in keeping with age.
