An early 20th century amethyst brooch. The circular-shape amethyst within an openwork scroll surmount having an oval-shape amethyst drop. Length 5cms. Stamped 15ct. Weight 7.9gms.

Condition Report
The brooch is in overall good condition. The amethysts are well matched in colour. Light nibbles and scratches can be seen to the facets. Light scratches and scuffs can also be seen to the brooch surmount, in keeping with age. The brooch pin and clasp are replacements.
