A Victorian gem-set necklace. The 15ct gold split pearl heart-shaped locket suspended from a split pearl swallow articulated foliate surmount with amethyst detail to the rope twist chain. Locket with hallmarks for Chester, 1895. Necklace stamped 15ct. Length 40.7cm.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The locket has some more significant dents to the back and may not be original to the piece. There is a small area of discolouration. The amethyst are well matched with some scratches. The pearls are well matched creamy white.
