Lot Description
A late Victorian citrine and agate dirk pin, circa 1880. Designed as a series of different agates each within a celtic style engraved mount with thistle-shaped citrine detail and surmount. One citrine deficient. Length 5.5cms.

Condition Report
The lot is in fair to good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The mount has some areas of heavier scratches and areas of minor discolouration. The pin is a base metal replacement. The smallest citrine to the end of the dirk is deficient. The citrines have minor-moderate facet-edge abrasion and visible colour-zoning. The agates have minor surface abrasion and include jasper, moss agate and bloodstone, the bloodstone having a small scuff to one side.
