The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches and very small dents in keeping with general wear. The pin and clasp are not original, pin stamped 9ct. The drop may not be original to the piece. The opals are well matched and may possibly be replacements. The oval-shape opal is slightly loose within its mount. The opals display an extremely good play of colour with vibrant flashes of purple, blue, green, yellow, orange and red with no noticeable dead zones. The opals have some surface scratches and minor natural surface indentations. The reverse of the oval-shape opal cabochon has some natural indentations with some white matrix visible. The diamonds appear bright and well matched, estimated colour H-I, clarity SI with small, scattered inclusions. Most diamonds are too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. Two of the diamonds have small chips. Unhallmarked. Weight 7.5gms.

The safety chain is not original.
