Lot Description

A pink sapphire and diamond bar brooch. The oval-shape sapphire within a millegrain setting to the openwork foliate rose-cut diamond bar. With French assay marks. Length 5.3cms. Weight 4.4gms.

Condition Report

The brooch is in overall good condition. The sapphire has a medium hue with even colour saturation. A fine fracture can be seen running through the stone. A few small colouress crystals are also present. The diamond detail is bright and lively, considering their individual size. Light scratches and scuffs can be seen.
