Lot Description
Two late 19th century 9ct gold brooches. To include a target brooch, the central circular-shape dome within a ridged surround also a turquoise brooch, the bow design centre within a foliate engraved surround. Both unhallmarked. Tests as 9ct gold. Total weight 14.34gms.

Condition Report
Both brooches are in overall fair condition. There is a scratch and an acid stain to the back of the turquoise brooch, there is a chip to the central turquoise, wear and areas of discolouration to the outer surround, the back pin is bent. The catch to the target brooch has been reattached with lead solder at a later date. There are scratches and areas of discolouration to the inner back and outer surround. The back pin is metal.
