Lot Description
Two gem set bar brooches. The first designed as a multi-gem bug, the second designed as a circular-cut diamond openwork geometric brooch. One stamped 15. Lengths 5.7cms and 5.9cms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The pins are base metal replacements. The amethyst, garnet and split seed pearl bug is a later addition to the bar brooch. The gems have minor facet-edge abrasion and light scratches. One of the split seed pearl eyes is cracked and stained. The bars are slightly bent. The diamond brooch has slightly more noticeable dents and nicks. The safety chain is broken off. The diamonds appear bright and well matched. Estimated total diamond weight 0.35ct, colour I-J, clarity SI with small scattered dark inclusions.
