An 18ct gold ruby and diamond cluster ring. The oval-shape ruby within a brilliant-cut diamond double surround to the plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 1.80cts, H-I colour, SI1-SI2 clarity. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1972.

The overall condition is good. There are scratches and minor dents to the mount in keeping with general wear. The shank may have been re sized or repaired. The ruby is of a medium purplish red hue with good colour saturation. There are visible typical inclusions, some surface reaching. The diamonds are lively and bright. Ring size P.
