Lot Description
An early 20th century emerald and split seed pearl pendant, circa 1920. The pear-shape emerald collet suspended from a split seed pearl and green enamel kite-shaped panel to the split seed pearl surmount. Stamped 15, makers mark SS. Length 4.8cms. Weight 4.5gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches and very small dents in keeping with general wear. The emerald is a bluish green hue with typical inclusions that affect the transmission of light through the gem. The split seed pearls are a yellowish cream body colour with yellowish or rose overtones. Some of the pearls have fine cracks to the nacre. The enamel has some fine cracks and two small, shallow chips. Please see important notices in the front of the catalogue for coloured stones.
