A late Victorian peridot and seed pearl necklace, circa 1880. Designed as a series of oval-shape peridot and split pearl, each within a milled and canetille bead surround to the multi-strand seed pearl chain and peridot clasp. Length 38cms.

Condition Report
The necklace is in overall excellent condition. The peridot and split seed pearls are well matched. A few minor nibbles can be seen to a few facet edges. The split seed pearls have a cream body colour with silvery overtones. The claw settings seem secure. Re-threading is recommended. The clasp is in good working order.
