Lot Description

A Victorian 9ct gold hardstone swivel fob. Of circular outline, the alternating bloodstone and cornelian panels to the twist design surmount. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1892. Length 3.9cms.

The fob is in overall fair condition. There are scratches and indentations to the outer surround, there are wear marks were the centre swivwls. The hallmark is a little rubbed yet legible. There is a surface reaching crack to the bloodstone. There is a small chip to the edging of the cornelian. There is some dirt to the scrolling grip.
