Lot Description
An early 20th century 9ct gold Charles Horner brooch, together with a similar brooch. The first designed as a green glass and split seed pearl horseshoe to the riding crop, the second set with calibre-cut turquoise and diamond point detail to the plain bar. Hallmarks for Chester, 1900. Stamped CH. Second brooch unhallmarked. Weight 8.7gms. One stone deficient.

Condition Report
Both brooch are in overall good condition. One split seed pearl is missing to the Charles Horner brooch. The green glass cabochons are not well matched in colour. All settings will need attention. The diamond point detail to the second brooch are bright. The turquoise stones do vary in colour however, they are cut well. Light scratches and scuffs can be seen, general wear.
