An early 20th century 18ct gold opal and diamond ring. The oval opal cabochon to the vari-cut diamond shoulders and plain half-band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct. Stamped 18ct Plat.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The band has been repaired/replaced. The ring has been re-plated with white-metal at some point with uneven results to the sides. The opal has a good play of colour, predominantly green and blue with numerous small surface scratches. The diamonds appear bright and well matched, individual diamonds are too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. Ring size N 1/2. Weight 2.6gms.
