An early 20th century 18ct gold opal and seed pearl bar brooch. Of styllised foliate design, the oval opal cabachon to the whiplash line with seed pearl detail. Length 5.1cms. Weight 2.1gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The opal shows a good play of colour, red, blue and green, with minor surface abrasion. The seed pearls are well matched with the smaller seed pearls showing easily visible blemishes and being slighty off-shape. Touchstone tests as 18ct gold.
