Lot Description

A pair of 18ct gold cultured pearl and ruby earrings. Each designed as a fly with an oval-shape cultured pearl body and circular-shape ruby eyes. Earring back fittings deficient. Hallmarks for Sheffield, 1991. Length 2cms. Weight 3.1gms.

The earrings are in overall good condition. There are slight scratches to the earrings in keeping with slight wear. There are blemishes to the pearls, one has a far more pink orient, the other of more greenish tone. There is some abrasion to the ruby eyes visible with magnification. There is glue visible to the back of each pearl.
