An 18ct gold opal single-stone ring. The oval opal cabochon to the openwork shoulders and plain band. Hallmarks for London, 1968.

The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The opal displays a fair play of colour with predominately green, blue and purple colours visible and small dead zones. The opal has a moderate chip/indentation to the reverse and light surface scratches. The body of the opal is very clear with some whitish areas. Weight 4.4gms. Opal dimensions 17.3mm by 12.7mm by 2.9mm deep.
