Lot Description

ROLEX - an 18ct gold diamond and synthetic sapphire cocktail watch. The cream dial with black Arabic numerals, single-cut diamond and synthetic sapphire detail to the associated 9ct gold snake-link strap. Case with Glasgow import marks, 1924. Strap with hallmarks for Birmingham, 1987. Case width 1.4cms. Gross weight 18.3gms.

Condition Report

The cocktail watch is in overall good condition. Dark marks can be seen to the outer edges of the cream dial. The diamonds are bright and lively. The synthetic sapphires have an even colour saturation. A few nicks/chips can be seen to two diamonds. Light scratches and scuffs can be seen to the case and later added watch strap.
