Lot Description

A 1930's four piece silver tea service, comprising teapot, hot water pot, cream jug and twin-handled sugar basin, each piece of octagonal sided plain form with flat top scroll handles and standing on a spreading oval footed base, the teapot and hot water pot with domed, hinged lids and having bakelite style finials and handles.  Hallmarked William Neale & Son Ltd., Birmingham 1934, 1935 (cream jug) and 1938 (sugar basin). Maximum length of teapot 10 3/4 inches (27.5 cm), gross combined weight including handles 47.2 ozt (1468 grams).
