Lot Description
George III silver entree dish and cover of rectangular cushion shape, with gadrooned border to the main dish and with further conforming borders inset to the top of the lid, with detachable reeded and acanthus leaf moulded handle, both dish and cover engraved to one side with the Prince of Wales Plumes. Hallmarked William Frisbee London 1807. Maximum length of dish measures 10 1/2 inches (26.5cm), weight 53.92 ozt (1677 grams).

Condition Report
The dish and cover displays general wear and surface marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use. There are some deeper more noticeable scratches, mainly visible to the interior of the base and also interior of the lid. There are also some small dints in the metal in places, mainly to the corners of the base and cover. Various other nicks in the metal and the rim of the detachable handle is slightly dinted in places. Full hallmarks to both base and cover and part hallmarks to handle, all are legible.
