Lot Description
A large 1930's silver tray, of rectangular outline, the main body engraved with a scrolling foliate and shell border within a raised edge with reeded detail and twin handles. Hallmarked Walker & Hall, Sheffield 1931, numbered 53567. Measurements not including handles 16 1/4 inches (41.5cm) by 22 inches (55.5cm). Approximate weight 121.5 ozt (3780 grams).

Condition Report
The tray is in good overall condition with surface scratches and very small dents in keeping with general wear. The tray has been previously re-finished with some loss of detail to the four inner corners of the engraving. The hallmarks to the front of the tray have also rubbed, particularly the maker's mark, this is also clearly visible to the underside.
