Lot Description

An early twentieth century silver caster of octagonal faceted form and detachable pierced lid. Hallmarked Martin Hall & Co Ltd Birmingham 1919, numbered to the underside 10234. Height measuring 6 3/4 inches (17 cm), weight 3.2 ozt (101 grams).

The caster appears in good overall condition, there are general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The base does wobble a little. The hallmarks lightly rubbed but legible, makers' mark visibly worn.
