Lot Description
A silver mounted rectangular table cigarette box, the hinged cover with engine turned decoration and central rectangular vacant cartouche, wood lined interior with partition. Hallmarks partly obscured but probably Birmingham 1954. Measuring 6 1/2 inches (16.5cm) by 3 1/2 inches (9cm).

Condition Report
The box displays general wear and surface marks and scratches. It is also very tarnished all over. There is slightly more wear to the edges and corners and there are also a few small dints and nicks to the main body. The hinged cover is in good working order and the wooden interior is generally okay. The hallmarks are now quite rubbed and distorted and therefore difficult to read.
