George III silver snuffers' tray by Peter, Ann & William Bateman, of elongated oblong shape and having a raised everted border with reeded rim, the tray bright cut engraved with a continuous band of trailing flowers and leaves within wrigglework and punched borders, engraved crest to the centre. Hallmarked London 1800. Maximum length 10 1/4 inches (26cm), weight 4.5 ozt (140.3 grams).
