Lot Description

Late Victorian silver and glass dressing table jar of cylindrical form, the detachable silver lid embossed with scrolling foliage.  Hallmarked T H Hazlewood & Co., Birmingham 1900. Maximum height including lid measures 6cm.

The silver lid is quite tarnished and displays general wear and surface marks and scratches.  There are also some dints in the metal.  Hallmarks are clear and legible.  The glass jar also has surface marks and scratches and various small edge and rim nicks.
