Lot Description
A late nineteenth century Chinese rose bowl by Luen Wo, Shanghai, the body embossed with blossom trees, perched birds and chrysanthemums with dual stylised lion mask ring handles, a circular cartouche with presentation engraving and the body raised above a tapered circular foot. Stamped to the underside LUENWO along with further Chinese characters. Diameter measuring 8 7/8 inches (22.5 cm), weight 26.9 ozt (839 grams).

Condition Report
The Chinese bowl appears in good overall condition, there are general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The interior looks to have been previously been gilded but this has now significantly worn. The marks to the underside are clear and legible.
