Lot Description

Pair of Danish sterling silver and enamel salt and pepper pots, each modelled in the form of a mushroom with a green guilloche enamel lid and a bulbous base.  Stamped to the underside Denmark Sterling 925S and with maker's mark for Egon Lauridsen (Copenhagen 1936-1966). Maximum height of salt pot measures 4.5cm, gross combined weight 51 grams.

The lot is in fair to good overall condition with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The silver shows significant tarnish and some black marks. There is a shallow circular chip to the enamel on the salt pot, approximately 7mm in diameter.
