The tea caddy displays some light wear and tarnishing and also general surface marks and scratches.  There is some slight loss of detail to the embossed decoration but on the whole the overall condition is good.  There are some minor nicks in the metal in places and especially some more noticeable ones around the foot rim and other rims.  There are also a couple of minor dints and a little bit more wear to the edges and corners.  The four corners on the lid are now slightly curved over from general wear.  Hallmarks are to the underside and are very clear, there are also some scratch marks.  There are hallmarks to the inner flange of the lid and these are also very clear.
