Victorian pair of silver open salts, each of cauldron shape with beaded rim and standing on three lion mask and paw feet, with engraved monogram to one side and gilded interior.  Hallmarked John, Edward, Walter & John Barnard, London 1876.  Diameter of rim measures 2 1/2 inches (6.5cm), weight 6 ozt (188.4 grams).
