Early 20th century silver hip flask of plain slightly curved form, with personal engraving and date and a detachable silver cup, the hinged dome top lid with locking mechanism.  Hallmarked James Dixon & Sons Ltd., Sheffield 1917.  Overall height measures 4 3/4 inches (12cm), weight 5.35 ozt (166.5 grams).
