Stuart Devlin surprise silver gilt egg with decorated surface depicting Buckingham Palace, guards and a young Queen in Royal carriage, roses, clovers and thistle pattern to top and base. Opening to reveal a bust of the Queens head surrounded by cultured pearls and worked metal detail. Base inscribed 'Silver Jubilee 1977 No.2', with box. Hallmarked London 1977. Height measuring 82mm.

Condition Report
In good general condition. Exterior showing some tarnishing. Hinge in good working condition for opening the egg. Currently the bust of Queen's head is detachable and there is evidence of glue to both it and frame that holds it. Discolouration to bust and general interior, some scratching also evident. Box showing some wear to a few of edges.
