Lot Description

A gold tone and glass perfume bottle, possibly French, circa 1820, the circular green glass bottle to the tri-colour foliate and textured hinged lid with rectangular shape ruby detail.  (Glass possible replacement).  Unmarked. Length 2 1/4 inches (5.7cms).

The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The glass is green glass encased within clear glass with a tiny pontil at the end. There is a small crack to the inner green glass measuring about 1cm near the collar. The stopper is missing. The ruby is a purplish red colour with typical inclusions.
