A Victorian silver card case, the rectangular body entirely engraved with foliate decoration, scroll shaped edge and personal inscription to the shield shaped cartouche. Hallmarked Frederick Marson Birmingham 1889. Height measuring 3 1/4 inches (8.2 cm), weight 1.2 ozt (38 grams).

Condition Report
The card case displays general scratches, marks and wear, heavy tarnishing present. Small shallow concave area visible to the back of the case. The hallmarks to the inner lip are clear and legible, the makers' mark distorted. The engraving reads 'Achilles Taylor N.G.W. 1929'.
