Early twentieth century silver card case of rectangular form, shaped edge and engraved monogram. Hallmarked Stewart Dawson & Co Ltd Chester 1912. Height measuring 3 3/4 inches (9.5 cm), weight 2.21 ozt (69 grams).

The card case displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use, a number of dints and bumps. The hinge is in good working order. The hallmarks to the inner lip are clear and legible, marks to the lid appear worn.
