Lot Description

Edwardian silver card with scroll engraving and circular vacant cartouche. Hallmarked Birmingham 1906 and the makers' mark J.G. Height measuring 3 1/8 inches (8 cm), weight 1.7 ozt (55 grams).

The card case displays general light wear and surface marks and scratches and also some tarnishing.  The engraved decoration is still in good condition.  The case is slightly pushed in around the centre from general use.  The hinged cover is in working order.  There are contact marks to the flange and the hallmarks here are slightly rubbed but still legible.  The part hallmarks on the hinged cover are also slightly distorted but still legible.
