Georgian silver vinaigrette of oval shape and each side formed as a shell with reeded edge, opening to reveal a gilt interior with floral pierced grille. Hallmarks distorted. Length measuring 26 mm, weight 8.5 grams.

Condition Report
The vinaigrette displays general wear commensurate with the age and use with scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing, particular tarnishing has built up in the recesses. The outer hinge is in good working order, the grille hinge allows a little sideways movement and a little cracking to the hinge tube. The gilding to the interior displays general wear and discolouration. The hallmarks as mentioned in the description are extremely distorted, only visible to the rim of the base.
