Lot Description
A Victorian silver vesta of rectangular design with scrolling decoration to front and back, circular cartouche and suspension loop, measuring 5 cm x 3.9 cm. Hallmarked Joseph Willmore, Birmingham 1893. Together with an Edwardian silver vesta case with foliate detail, initialled cartouche and suspension loop, hallmarked William Neale, Chester 1903. Gross weight 52.8 grams.

Both vesta cases in good general condition. Victorian case showing general wear and tear, gilt interior, hallmarks clear to lid, hinge in good working order. Edwardian case also showing wear and tear, initialed W.V, curved back showing some dents, hinge in good working order.
